Since early 2025 I have been working with clients across the sustainable fuels space. Most of my time is spent with Willis Sustainable Fuels, which has one of the most deliverable advanced SAF projects in the world. I've also helped Braathens Renavia to develop a blueprint for the Swedish Government to implement a SAF revenue certainty mechanism, and helped another client with due diligence related to biogas. I'm hugely enjoying the opportunity to have impact and help this vital industry to grow.
In 13 years at Velocys, the sustainable fuels technology company, I led the Altalto Immingham project, from inception to a flagship Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project for the UK, now at the Front End Engineering Design stage. I am now working part-time for Velocys, continuing to support the company in policy and stakeholder relations. Before Velocys, I worked for start-ups in sustainable energy and chemicals, delivering acquisitions, Intellectual Property growth and funding. I also led a project for what is now Innovate UK, setting up the SBRI government procurement programme.
I have been selected by both the present UK Government and the previous one to support development of SAF policy and a UK industry. I am a member of the Jet Zero Taskforce Expert Group. I was a founding director of the Renewable Transport Fuel Association, and chaired its Aviation Working Group of for 3 years. I am also active in the EU's Renewable and Low Carbon Fuel Alliance.
With the global strategy firm, I led multi-disciplinary teams providing strategic and organisational advice to global clients, repeatedly delivering over $100million of value per project.
During 12 years with ExxonMobil, I held management roles throughout the downstream business, including marketing, customer service, operations and product development, with particular expertise in fuels and lubricants.

I am driven by my love of nature, and especially enjoy walking among mountains. In 2022 I walked the Pennine Way (260 miles) supporting a friend in raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. In July and August 2025 I took on a new challenge, walking 666 miles to the island of Islay in Scotland, and raising over £24,000 for the MNDA.
